ordered this morning along with a front allignment kit and front pads :)

i cant wait to see how the mounts and allignment setup will help me at the autocross in mid- sept. :) i was quite tempted by rear trailing arm and front control arm bushings as well, and brake lines but i still have to get the sti sorted yet. :)

installed 2of the 3 this past weekend. pressing them in was easy, but they (energy) packaged the wrong sleeve inserts. drilling them out to make them work takes a long time and is a huge pain in the arse.

but it's def worth it. the difference in power delivery and throttle response is just wow.

to give an idea of the difference in power delivery, in the past 2 weeks i've installed the mounts, an axle back exhaust, a CAI and a 6 piston brake kit. the biggest difference in the car is from the mounts. it now jumps when you put your right foot down, response is instantinous. and when up shifting the power is there ready to go after you're upshift now with no momentum lost through the chassis. mounts don't increase HP which is one of 2 reasons most people never bother with them, but honestly it's like adding another 15hp from the butt dyno, and improving your gearing. the downside with any performance motor mount setup in an increase noise/harshness and vibration. if your wife or gf is someone that would like a soft cushy lexus ride more then a harley type ride then you may want to hold off on mount inserts. but if you don't mind a vibration at idle (i personally think mounts make a car feel like an animal waiting to pounce) then it's something i'd STRONGLY recommend.

*for the record i've had cars with mounts before so stiff the cd player wouldn't read a disc anymore, these are not that stiff, these are like a harley at idle, a noticeable constitant vibration. nothing crazy though with the exhaust the noise can still be talked over without issue using a normal conversational tone and volume.*

Nice review!! They do work well eliminating the squat after stabbing the pedal.

FYI, we have black and red in stock at this time.
